Jaisalmer

Jaisalmer Jaisalmer is also called The Golden city which is located in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is crowned by the Jaisalmer Fort. This fort has a royal palace and many Jain temples. The town is in the heart of the Thar Desert. It is close to the Pakistani border. The length of the international border which touches to Jaisalmer District is 464 km. Udaipur

Udaipur Udaipur is located in state of Rajasthan. Udaipur is also called the City of Lakes.   It was founded in 1558 by Udai Singh II who was the Sisodia clan of the Rajput.   He shifted his capital from Chittorgarh to Udaipur when Chittorgarh was besieged by Akbar. It continued as the capital city till 1818. There after it became a British princely state and after independence of India it became the Mewar province a part of Rajasthan. The city is surrounded by the Aravali Range which divides it from the Thar Desert. Udaipur is a tourist destination and is famous for its culture, scenic locations and the palaces. It is known as the City of Lakes and has seven lakes surrounding the city. The main lakes are in Udaipur such as Lake Pichola, Fateh Sagar Lake, Swaroop Sagar Lake and Doodh Talai Lake. Mount Abu

Mount Abu Mount Abu is a hill station in Pindwara in Sirohi district of Rajasthan state. It is near the border with Gujarat. The highest top on the mountain is Guru Shikhar at 5,650 feet above sea level. It is surrounding with rivers, lakes, waterfalls and evergreen forests. Chittorgarh

Chittorgarh Chittorgarh is the main city of Rajasthan and located on the on the banks of river Gambhiri and Berach. It was a former capital of the Sisodia Rajput time of Mewar. Nowadays it is the administrative headquarters of Chittorgarh District. Chittorgarh has a Chittor Fort, the largest fort in India and Asia. It faced of three major sieges in 1303, 1535, and 1567–1568 by Muslim invaders.   Hindu rulers fought fiercely for independence. Bikaner

Bikaner Bikaner is located 330 kilometers far from the state capital Jaipur. The city was established by Rao Bika in 1488. It is the administrative headquarters of Bikaner District and Division. Tourist Places in Bikaner Junagarh Fort Junagarh Fort is a fort in Bikaner. The fort was originally called Chintamani. In the early 20th century ruling family moved to Lalgarh Palace then the fort was renamed Junagarh or Old Fort.
