1 LAXMINARAYAN TEMPLE OR BIRLA MANDIR DELHI
Laxmi Narayan Temple is one of the main Hindu temples and a tourist attraction in Delhi, also famous as Birla Mandir. The temple is devoted to Laxmi (the goddess of prosperity) and Narayana (The preserver) hence the temple is called Laxminarayan Temple. The temple was built by the industrialst Sh. J.K. Birla in 1939 in the west of Connaught Place. The temple was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi, on the condition that it will remain open for all castes of people.
The Laxminarayan Temple in Delhi is situated in the west
of Connaught Place area and is a main tourist attraction. It is spread over an
area of 7.5 acres and contains of several fountains, memorials and sculptures
and models of religious. The temple also has a Geeta Bhavan which is used for
speeches. The Laxminarayan Temple is a main attraction amongst the tourists
during Janmashtami and Diwali festivals.

2 AKSHARDHAM TEMPLE DELHI
Akshardham signifies the perfect habitation God. It is
hailed as an endless spot of dedication, immaculateness and harmony.
Swaminarayan Akshardham at New Delhi is a Mandir – a house of God, a Hindu
worship place. The mandir is an unassuming tribute to Bhagwan Swaminarayan
(1781-1830), the incredible sages of Hinduism. The generally styled complex was
inaugurated on 6 November 2005 by HH Pramukh Swami Maharaj and through the devoted
efforts of artisans and volunteers.
In New Delhi, Swaminarayan Akshardham is a symbol of
10,000 years of Indian culture with its beauty and intelligence. It shows the
spirit of India's ancient architecture, traditions. Akshardham's experience is
an important journey for India's glorious art, values and progress, joy and
harmony of mankind.
Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple was made in only five
years. The Guinness World Recognition was recognized as the world's largest
comprehensive Hindu temple. This complex was inaugurated on November 6, 2005.

3 ISKON TEPLE DELHI (Sri Sri Radha Parthsarthi Temple)
Sri Sri Radha Parthasarathi Mandir known as the ISKCON
Delhi temple was inaugurated on 5 April, 1998 by the then Prime Minister of
India Atal Bihari Vajpayee. It is situated at Hare Krishna Hills in the East of
Kailash, New Delhi.
The temple is a huge structure, with 90-foot-high
'shikharas'. The paintings portray exceptional scenes from the lives of deities
like Lord Krishan and Radha, and Lord Ram and Sita.
The International Society for Krishna Consciousness
(ISKCON) follows strict line of worship inside the Vaishnava subculture. 24
priests are assigned for the temple prayers and services. The each day habitual
consists of six aartis presented to the deities, particularly Mangala Aarti,
Darshan Aarti, Raj Bhog Aarti, Usthapana Aarti, Sandhya Aarti, and Shyana
Aarti. The devotees are supplied 'bhoga ka prasad' after the prayers to the
deities are finished.

4 GURUDWARA BANGLA SAHIB
The Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is one of the Main Sikh
pilgrimage hub in Delhi, is placed on Ashok Road with close to the Connaught
Place.
Gurudwara Bangla Sahib was initially a bungalow of Raja
Jai Singh who was an Indian ruler the in the seventeenth century. It was recognized as Jaisinghpura Palace.
In the seventeenth century it was the royal residence of
Raja Jai Singh. It is said that in 1664. The eighth Sikh Guru Guru Har Krishan
Sahib Ji came to visit the King and relieved individuals who were contracted
with smallpox and cholera pestilence by distributing them water from the tank.
That water tank, utilized by the Guru, still it is inside the Gurudwara and is
accepted to have the medicinal properties. The Gurudwara and its Sarovar are
toady a place of great worship for Sikhs.
Important Information For Visitors
The Gurudwara is open 24 hours in all days of the week.
You need to wear modest clothes and cover your head
within the Gurudwara premises.
You must remove your shoes before entering the Gurudwara.
Special meetings and prayers are organized on the
occasion of Guru Har Krishan's birth anniversary.

5 SHRI DIGAMBAR JAIN LAL MANDIR
Sri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir is the most ancient Jain
temple in Delhi. Located in the Chandni Chowk , in the area of Red Fort.
Formerly built in 1656, the temple underwent many modifications and changes in
the later years.
Shri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir also called ‘Red Temple’,
the temple is devoted to 23rd Jain Tirthankara- Parshvanath. Also the vast
statue of Parshvanath, the temple also houses idols of Rishabhdev, Lord Mahavir
and several other deities.
There is a massive avian veterinary hospital behind the
main temple complex which is named Jain Birds Hospital. Inspired by Vardhman
Mahavir’s message ‘live and let live’, the temple is mostly popular for its
striking architecture, beautiful carvings, pure gold artwork and paintings.
Paryushan, Samvatsari, Jnaan Panchami and Deepawali are the main festivals
celebrated at the temple.

6 JAMA MASJID DELHI
Jama Masjid is the greatest mosque of Delhi also spelled
Jāmiʿ Masjid or Masjid-i Jahānnumā, mosque in Old Delhi, India, built in
1650-56 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, who built the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort
a famous patron of Islamic architecture. It is the largest mosque in India,
capable of placing 25,000 devotees.
Jama Masjid is Delhi's main mosque, where Muslims of the
city traditionally gather for Friday's communal prayer; Jama Masjid is Arabic
for "Friday Mosque". The tall name, the Masjid-e-Jahanuma, is
transformed into "the mosque that reflects the world" or "the
mosque that displays the world". The main building material was red stone,
but some white marble was also used.
Every year, on the Eid, thousands of pilgrims go to the
mosque to pay Eid prayers on the morning. Under the instructions of Shahi Imam,
the mosque is maintained jointly by Delhi Waqf Board and Jama Masjid Committee.
