Akshardham signifies the perfect habitation God. It is hailed as an endless spot of dedication, immaculateness and harmony. Swaminarayan Akshardham at New Delhi is a Mandir – a house of God, a Hindu worship place. The mandir is an unassuming tribute to Bhagwan Swaminarayan (1781-1830), the incredible sages of Hinduism. The generally styled complex was inaugurated on 6 November 2005 by HH Pramukh Swami Maharaj and through the devoted efforts of artisans and volunteers.

In New Delhi, Swaminarayan Akshardham is a symbol of 10,000 years of Indian culture with its beauty and intelligence. It shows the spirit of India's ancient architecture, traditions. Akshardham's experience is an important journey for India's glorious art, values ​​and progress, joy and harmony of mankind.

Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple was made in only five years. The Guinness World Recognition was recognized as the world's largest comprehensive Hindu temple. This complex was inaugurated on November 6, 2005.

Hall 1 - Hall of Values
Experience of human values through films and robots shows that non-violence, honesty and religiousness, show the ideals.

Hall 2 - Screen Film     
You can discover India through the story of an eleven year old Nilkantha, who brings the glory of the culture and spirituality of India's customs, art and architecture.

Hall 3 - Cultural Boat Ride
Enjoy the Sail through 10,000 years of India's superb heritage. Learn about the discoveries and inventions of the sage scientists of India, the world's first Taxila University caves of Ajanta-Ellora, realize the contribution of India for humankind through sails and eras.

Musical Fountain - Circle of Life (Only Evening show)
A remarkable musical fountain show that describes the cycle of birth, life, and death as described in Indian philosophy.

Lotus Garden
There is a lotus-shaped garden inside the Akshardham Complex.

Best Time to Visit Akshardham Temple

The temple is open all year around. it is smarter to stay away from summer from March to June. Summers are sweltering, muggy and drying out. Monsoon is not good for visit also. The best time to visit the Temple is winter season, which begins in October and finishes in February.
It is smarter to visit in the late evening, as you will have sufficient opportunity to see all of the attractions including Musical fountain show.
