Humayun's Tomb is One of the superb structures located in Delhi. This mausoleum is a tomb of the outstanding Mughal emperor Humayun. The building of the Humayun's Tomb was endorsed from the tomb of the Persian Mongol ruler, Oljeytu, at Sultaniyya. It is complex shape but has its personal attraction and grandeur. It became built in 1565,  Nine years after the dying of Humayun, by his senior widow Bega Begam. There are also the graves of Bahadur Shah Zafar and three princes with the tomb of Humayun.

The tomb is surrounded by beautiful  Mughal garden. This is traditional of all Mughal gardens. The  mausoleum stands on huge platform which has a peak of as much as 7 meters. The Building is made out of purple sandstone, while the tomp itself is made from yellow and black marble. The height of Humayun’s tomb is forty seven meters, and its breadth is ninety one meters.

Mughal emperor Humayun died in 1556 and became buried in his palace in Dehli.
Later he was reburied in Sirhind, Punjab so that it will comfy him from feasible harm by using Hindu king Hemu, who had defeated the Mughals in Agra and Delhi in 1556.In 1565, nine years after Humayun’s loss of life, his empress consort Bega Begum determined to create the most lovely tomb for her deceased husband.
