Mamallapuram Mahabalipuram or Mamallapuram is an old port and historic city in the Kancheepuram district of Tamil Nadu most popular for the UNESCO World Heritage Site of 7 th and 8 th century Hindu Group of Monuments at Mamallapuram. Char Dham The Char Dham comprises Badrinath, Dwaraka, Puri and Rameswaram a set of four pilgrimage places in India. Hindus believe that visiting these pilgrimage e places helps achieve "Moksha" (salvation). Adi Shankaracharya defined the four Hindu pilgrimage Badrinath, Dwaraka, Puri and Rameswaram places as Char Dham. Kanyakumari Kanyakumari or Kanniyakumari is also called as Cape Comorin that is a town in Tamil Nadu state. Kanyakumari is a popular tourist destination.
